If I were on The Biggest Loser, then this is a Jillian Michaels Moment!
I have been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds for over a year now! Every time, EVERY TIME I approach getting 170's , I begin to not track my food and inch back up on the scales toward 190! This last time at 185 pounds, I realized that if I was on The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels would be pulling me out of the gym and parking my big fanny on the front steps. She would be saying, "What is going on? Why are you sabotaging yourself? You put in the work, eat right and then just blow it all! WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?" I have heard that question resounding in my mind and have searched and prayed for the answer. It is the same fear that I have in all aspects of my life: FEAR OF FAILURE! I am afraid that if I go after it with all I got that it will not be enough! There, I've said it! It has been a true breakthrough in my thinking....an epiphany! I weighed 181.6 this morning. I have lost a total of 51.6 pounds! I am approaching the ambush zone where I subconsciously sabotage my own journey. I am barreling through this self-imposed road block...risking it all...facing forward with not even a glance behind me....my battle cry is GOODBYE 180s HELLO 170s GOD IS MY STRENGTH!!! Fall on my face or breakthrough the roadblock....either way, I am going for it!!!!

YES, YOU ARE going for it, and YES, YOU ARE going to break through the roadblock!!!! You KNOW who your enemy is. Satan wants you to fail! He wants you to fear! He wants you to doubt! He wants to utterly destroy you! "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." ~1 Peter 5:8. But guess what? YOU WIN! "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is GREATER than he who is in the world." ~1 John 4:4.
You've got this! So you need to claim that! You need to claim victory by the power of the Lord, Jesus Christ. That Chris Tomlin song . . . Whom Shall I Fear? (The God of Angel Armies) . . . that is YOUR SONG!
You are not going to fail. No matter what. You are not going to fail. There's a famous quote, and I can't even think of it right now, but it's something like you've failed only if you haven't gone after it, only if you haven't tried. But you are not going to fail because you are going to go for it. Can you even begin to imagine how sweet that victory is going to be when you bust 169?! I mean, you just gotta do this thing so you can know how awesome it's gonna be!

You will go with God, and you will bust the 170s wide open! You will leap right over the 170s!

Wow! Julie, you are so very encouraging!! Thank you for the scriptures and reminding me of WHO I belong to and how GREAT GOD IS!!!! I am the child of the ONE TRUE KING and He is not going to let me fail as long as I completely trust Him! Every single word you said is exactly what I needed to hear! LOVE YOU!!!
